Here is copy of the project handout. Below is a more detailed list of what I expect.
1. Identify the values that are most important to you. Why are they so important? Who/what helped you gain these values?
2. List your best strengths and give proof that you have these strengths (your strength report would be a great tool)
3. What are some of your self-defeating beliefs? Why are they irrational? How could you change these beliefs into something more constructive?
4. What emotions do you experience on a regular basis? How do you deal with these emotions? If the behavior is not healthy, what are some better ways you could express or deal with these emotions?
5. Identify your most important relationships. What makes them healthy? What are some things you do that contribute to it being a healthy relationship?
6. Explain how each of your five basic human needs are being met.
7. What are some sources of stress for you? What do you currently do when you're stressed? What are some positive, healthy behaviors that you can do during times of stress?
8. Describe a recent problem you've had and how it made your life difficult. Identify both healthy and unhealthy reactions you experienced while dealing with this problem.
9. Describe a time (recently) that you had to make a decision, and tell about your journey though that process of making the decision. What were other choices? How did you come to decide on what you did? What were the consequences of your decision?
10. Explain the last time you were experienced peer pressure. Was it positive or negative? What was the outcome? Then, tell about a time YOU pressured someone else. Was this positive or negative? What was the outcome?
11. Describe a time you had a conflict with someone. Identify your behavior as passive, aggressive, or assertive. Which category of conflict resolution did you use (look at your handout, page 75). Looking back, was there a way this could have been better handled?
12. Define what the word PEACE means to you, and explain things you can do to bring more peace into your life.
13. Describe a time you volunteered within the community. What did you do? How did it make you feel? If you haven't ever volunteered, explain ways that you could start.
14. When you think about your future, what do you see? Using your career strengths as a guide, what are some careers you'd excel at? What steps do you need to be taking to make your future go the way you want it to?
